What we look for

We're focused, not opportunistic. Finewell Street Capital targets a specific type of business within UK Aerospace & Defence, which means when we approach you, it's because we genuinely believe there's a fit — not a cold, generic enquiry.

  • Sector Aerospace & Defence, or businesses with a significant Aerospace & Defence customer base — components (fasteners, castings, mountings, ducting, tubing, piping, valves, controls), small structures (casings, rings, machined parts), electronics and connectors, specialist manufacturing services (CNC machining, injection moulding, additive manufacturing), and drone technology.
  • Geography Primarily South-West and Central Southern England, including London. We prioritise businesses we can engage with personally and visit regularly.
  • Business model We're open to a range of operating models — proprietary design and manufacture, build-to-print manufacturing, assembly, coatings and surface treatments, or maintenance, repair and overhaul.
  • The right fit An established track record supplying into the Aerospace & Defence sector, strong long-standing customer relationships and relevant certifications, a capable team who want to stay and continue building the business, and an owner who cares as much about legacy and continuity as about price.
